Kerry grew up in Trimsraran, a small mining village in South Wales. Following in his son's footsteps Kerry first appeared on stage in 2011 playing Dan Taylor in the play Titfield Thunderbolt at the Grange Theatre in Walsall. The following year he played Brighello at Highbury Theatre Centre

Kerry has played a number of diverse roles in productions such as Dr Roberto Miranda in "Death and the Maiden", to George in "Honour" and through to Judd in "Bouncers". As well as appearing in a wide range of stage roles Kerry directed his first play, called "Dylan Thomas - My Life Words," it was first performed in January 2017 to great plaudits.

Kerry is now also acting in Film and TV. As well as working in short films made specifically for festivals and competitions, he has been in TNT's "Will" (U.S. only) and BBC's "Doctors"
